Nino and Angel quickly identified the issue, explained the repair options clearly, and completed the work efficiently with high-quality craftsmanship. Our garage door is now operating smoothly and quietly, and the pricing was fair with no surprise charges. It’s refreshing to work with a company that values honesty, reliability, and outstanding customer service. I highly recommend this company to anyone in need of garage door repair or installation. David Z67 days agoGreat service. Nino came over for a quick diagnostic of the door not opening. He was able to fix the motor and then look at some other issues and give recommendations for keeping the door and motor working well. Professional, reasonably priced, and friendly. Hope we don't need him again, but if we do, happy to call him again.Posted on Google

audiofat91 days agoI cannot thank Garage Door Pro Long Island enough. My oversized, truck-camper height garage door (over 12 feet tall) jammed completely open. After being turned down by standard residential companies due to the height and complexity of the door, I called Garage Door Pro. They responded immediately and came right out to me. It turned out to be a massive commercial-sized job—the motor had burnt out, the cables unraveled on both sides, and all of the rollers needed replacement. The technicians were incredibly professional, highly skilled, and completely rebuilt and rebalanced the high-tension system safely. While a heavy-duty commercial job like this is an investment, their pricing was fair, transparent, and worth every penny for the quality of work and peace of mind. I am so grateful I didn't have to tackle this dangerous job myself. If you have a large or complex overhead door on the East End, look no further. Highly recPosted on Google

Marlon Palha360 days agoIt was a pleasure working with this family owned business run by father and son, Angel and Nino. They responded quickly, were knowledgeable, provided options and fair pricing and worked quickly to complete the job - all the while keeping customer service and satisfaction as a priority. I called them on Tuesday evening, had them over on Weds morning to assess situation and go over options and had a new door installed by Thursday noon. Angel even came back later on that night to look at something I called about to ensure I was satisfied with the job. They also took care of a couple of additional things that without charging extra to make sure everything looked great. After going over reviews previously left by other customers and speaking to Nino on the phone, I was confident I made the right choice. Dirk Ramsey501 days agoIf you want the professional, meticulous, detail oriented and friendly team for anything regarding your garage door, look no further than Nino and Angel of Garage Door Pro Long Island. I called Garage Door Pro to try and repair my existing door. After Nino and Angel looked at all the issues, and there were a lot, they gave me a detailed explanation why it would be better off to replace my 25 year old door as the costs to fix all the issues would be something I’d need to spend again as the existing door was just too far gone for a long lasting repair. It just made sense and I’m so I happy with the outcome. Garage Door Pro was honest and reasonable with their price and more importantly the final result came out amazing. I would recommend them a million time over and will assure you, a decision to work with Garage Pro Long Island will be a decision you will not regret. Thank you Nino and Angel. You guys are awesome and I’m just so happy with the incredible new look of my garage door and the workmanship that you both put into installing it!+1Posted on Google

Gale Hamilton1086 days agoFirst call and they came within the HOUR! I cannot say enough about the excellent customer service that I received! They were professional and HONEST!!! My cable had popped. They identified the issue, made recommendations in order for my garage door to last for the long haul. They took the time to evaluate WHY it popped in the first place. They weighed the door and found the springs that had been installed less than 6 months ago were way too heavy for my door. Nino gave me several options and explained to me what would be the best way to move forward so I do not have the same issue in 2 months. I would HIGHLY recommend them for the next repair or installation! Hard to find men like this these days! They treated my problem as if it was there own. Thank you!Posted on Google

JoAnn Payne1596 days agoNino and Angel arrived at my home this morning to repair my two garage doors. They inspected each door and immediately diagnosed the problem. Along with the wrong parts that were used on my doors there was also a very serious safety issue which they explained and rectified. It seems the company I had been using for years had no concern for their customers. Both men were extremely considerate and went the extra mile to make sure we had the appropriate parts and service instead of just repeating what the other company had done. All metals I gave to a guy who was collecting scrap metal.Posted on Google
Aviv Shahaf2048 days agoThank you Nino! Very professional and ethical, exceeding all expectations. We knew we wanted a new garage door and Opener and got a few estimates. Nino was the only one to go over the differences between different solutions and providing recommendations for the specific layout of our garage. We wanted to get the new door in the spring but our garage door opener had different plans and broke down mid winter, so we decided it was time to get the new door. Nino was very responsive and came to install the new door and opener the very next day! Nino and his crew did a terrific job installing everything, and he even came back the following day to replace one part that came with a defect, even though it was barely noticeable. We now have a new, very quiet(!) and 10 times more reliable than our old door. We couldn't be happier. We chose Garage Door Pro LI because Nino was the most professional and knowledgeable when he gave us the estimate and also because they have by far the highest ratings among all other garage door companies. They earned every such review!+3Posted on Google

Edwing Medina2265 days agoWhen my garage door's damaged rails reached a point where I worried it might either not go up again, or not close again, I realized I needed to get it repaired. I reached out to several companies including Garage Door Pro Long Island, and Nino was the fastest to respond. We immediately scheduled a time the next morning that was convenient for us both (since Nino was booked that whole day), so he could take a look at how bad my garage door was. Much to my pleasant surprise, Nino called me later that afternoon to ask if I was still available since he finished with his appointments earlier than expected. I was and Nino came right over. When Nino and Angel (his assistant) came, they were extremely professional, had all the equipment they could possibly need, listened to all my needs and concerns, communicated all my options (including very reasonable rates), and then gave me the time and space to make my decisions on how to proceed. I initially contacted Garage Door Pro Long Island and Nino to fix a derailed garage door mechanism. But I had admittedly ignored my garage door for decades. During the Estimate visit, I realized and trusted that Nino would be the right guy to replace the entire garage door (and not just fix this lingering rail problem). He and I were on the same page but I stated my desire to replace the entire door. He never even suggested it. Once I asked him about it, he agreed this was a better long-term course of action and investment in my property. His quote was extremely reasonable and he worked with me to have it fit within my budget, even though I didn't intend on spending this much money on a whole new garage door. Lots of things about my garage door were out-of-standard. Not only was the door decades old and rusting from within (with holes large enough for the cats to walk in and out of the garage), but the door frame was also 3 inches off from the standard height (6'3" vs. 6'6"), and the garage door frame sides were also thicker than standard (so they initially got in the way when the new door closed). Even with all of these unexpected factors (that led to delays in completion), Nino and Angel just worked through these things to fix them, all the while keeping me informed of what was going on. They promised the job would take about 4 hours (even before knowing about some of these delays), and they still finished earlier than promised. I appreciated that Nino fit me in in between several jobs already scheduled that day because I need to travel out of town for a few days. Payment was easy, with a receipt and a smile. Nino and Angel left my garage looking quite brand new, with a little garage door lock and handle and everything. The garage door has never looked this good and worked so smoothly. It's ready for another 20 years (just kidding... but probably). I am really glad that I hired these professionals and hope you will be too. If I ever need their help again, they're my first call. If someone asks me for a referral, they're top of my list.Posted on Yelp
Edwing M.2265 days agoWhen my garage door's damaged rails reached a point where I worried it might either not go up again, or not close again, I realized I needed to get it repaired. If someone asks me for a referral, they're top of my list. NOTE: I will add the post-Nino Garage Door photos later. I was so excited with their work that I forgot to take a photo :-)+2Posted on Google

April Haupt2310 days agoMy experience with Nino and Garage Door Pro Long Island was one of the best experiences I have ever had with a service provider! Nino came to my home when he indicated he would. He evaluated the problem and was able to immediately do the work to fix it! On the spot! His pricing was fair and reasonable. He and Angel were polite and professional. The work was done in a timely fashion with the utmost quality and care! I wish they did other types of work in the home! After having some terrible experiences with other service providers for other work in my home, it was an absolute pleasure to deal with Nino and Angel! I would highly recommend them for any garage door repair or work you have!Posted on Google
Hao Jiang2312 days agoI usually don't write any review for service or products. The experience with Nino and Angel deserves my time and energy to spread the words to my community for what they could offer. They arrived on time as scheduled and provided reasonable price for replacing my aging garage door opener. They did an excellent job as promised. What's more, they went above and beyond my expectation to lubricate all joints and spring of the door to show me how to maintain good care of the garage door for free. For anyone who needs a replacement of the garage door opener or any related service, I highly recommend this company and consider them as your external family members. Give them a ring, they will never disappoint you.Posted on Google

Dan Beau2490 days agoOn December 10th 2019, my friend and I planned to install my garage door opener ourselves. About 90 minutes into the work, we noticed the torsion springs were bad. I went on the internet in search of a repair company. I'm very skeptical of online reviews. I read some and decided to go with Garage Door Pro Long Island. I called Nino. He was very knowledgeable and was willing to help. I asked him to stop by. He came with Angel. They were very professional and experience. They installed both torsion springs and the opener. It was done professionally. The price was more competitive than the other business' I called. Great Job - Nino and Angel. I highly highly recommend them.Posted on Google
Michael Garofalo2522 days agoI was looking to replace my old garage door and started looking online for a good company with a great reputation and solid customer reviews. Garage Door Pro seemed like an excellent company and Nino the owner came to my house to give me an estimate. I loved the fact that Nino was on time for the appointment and Nino went over all of the details and options. I knew right away that Nino’s price couldn’t be beat and I could tell that he was a professional with lots of knowledge and expertise. On the day of the new garage door and garage door opener installation Nino arrived early. I was expecting it to be a long process to install the new door but Nino was extremely fast and efficient. I took Nino’s advice with the “Lift Master” garage door opener with the built in “MyQ” software and I’m extremely happy with the decision. The Lift Master is so quiet and I can now control it with my iPhone and Amazon can deliver packages to inside my garage. I would also like to add that Nino also provided extra safety items for my new garage door and I appreciated all of his hard work. I would say that if you are in need of a new garage door or service look no further and call Nino @ Garage Door Pro!! Excellent price and professional service!!!👍👍👍Posted on Google
DGS2569 days agoWe were looking for a good backup battery for our garage door opener. We called Garage Door Pro Long Island and Nino immediately answered. After just a few minutes of talking with Nino, he answered all of our questions and we knew he was the person we wanted to do the job. Nino was on time, friendly, very knowledgeable, professional and neat. Once he arrived we also inquired about a new secure garage door, and Nino was very reasonable, gave us some great options and recommendations and never pressured us at all to buy things we didn’t need or want. So we decided to do both projects and Nino installed them both the same day. Also, Nino took his time and was meticulous with his work. Nino is a man of his word and he stands behind his work. He said he would place the door metal accents the next day and he was here as promised. We were very happy from beginning to end and we are totally satisfied with the project. We would highly recommend Nino and Garage Door Pro Long Island to our family and friends.Posted on Google

dipali amin2664 days agoWe called garage door pro Long Island, Mr. Nino ask few questions about the issue & he mentioned to stop by in 30 minutes, he came on time, there was no access to my garage & Mr. Nino gave very straight forward advice on possible options to fix 1) break the door, 2) break the glass window & enter in garage. 2nd option was little risky & much less cost for me. Mr. Nino helped me to do all this. We really appreciate his professionalism & technical knowledge for fixing the issue & have installed lift master garage door opener 8550w with battery back up with reasonable pricing. Installation was very quick & professional. Maybe there are many people who are doing this but very few like Mr. Nino. Excellent job, Extremely happy with installation.Posted on Google
